Ciceley Commercials to showcase new Mercedes-Benz Truck & Bus Dealership at RTX Scotland

Scottish news

Ciceley Commercials Ltd – a trusted name in commercial vehicle sales and support for over 50 years – will be exhibiting alongside Mercedes-Benz Trucks at RTX Scotland in Glasgow (Stand G30), where the company will share details of its brand-new £8 million Mercedes-Benz Truck and Bus dealership at Eurocentral.

This exciting development marks a major milestone in Ciceley’s continued growth and its long-term commitment to supporting truck and bus operators across Scotland. A family-owned and operated business, Ciceley has built its reputation on exceptional service, honest relationships, and continued investment in the future.

The new Eurocentral facility, now approved for development, brings that same ethos north of the border, ensuring operators in Scotland benefit from the quality and care for which Ciceley is known.

Work on the new site will begin shortly, with a temporary workshop opening mid-2026 to provide essential servicing and maintenance during construction. The full dealership is scheduled to open in autumn 2026.

Located on a 4.75-acre plot at Eurocentral, the new dealership will include:
• 12 work bays
• An Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) lane
• Full service, parts, and sales facilities for Mercedes-Benz trucks
• Service and parts facilities for Mercedes-Benz buses

“We’re thrilled to be expanding our support network into Scotland,” said Andy Heys, Dealer Principal at Ciceley Commercials Ltd. “Working closely with Mercedes-Benz, we’ve secured the ideal location and designed a facility that truly reflects the needs of Scottish truck operators. This marks an exciting new chapter for Ciceley — and RTX Scotland is the perfect place to share that vision with the industry.”

Ciceley’s story is one of family, dedication, and growth. Founded in the early 1970s when Brian Morgan began maintaining his own delivery trucks in Blackburn, the business evolved into one of the first Mercedes-Benz franchise dealers in the UK. More than 50 years later, Brian, now 93, remains involved alongside his son Russell (Chairman) and grandsons Adam and Sam, who play active roles in the business.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks UK has welcomed Ciceley’s expansion northwards as a key step in strengthening the brand’s support network across Scotland.

“We are delighted to be working in close partnership with Ciceley Commercials on this important development,” said Leonhard Niemann, Head of Dealer Network Development, Daimler Truck UK. “Ciceley’s reputation for customer dedication and operational excellence makes them the ideal partner to support our customers in Scotland.”

Stuart Jeggo, Sales Director at Daimler Truck UK, added: “Expanding Ciceley Commercials into Scotland presents an excellent opportunity to better serve our customers. This new site will deliver the first-class Sales and Aftersales support that operators have come to expect from Ciceley and Mercedes-Benz.”

Recognised as both Mercedes-Benz Truck Service Dealer of the Year and Truck Sales Team of the Year, Ciceley Commercials continues to set the benchmark for service excellence.

“Our new Eurocentral dealership represents much more than just a facility,” said Andy Heys. “It’s about investing in people, building relationships, and ensuring operators across Scotland have access to the support they deserve. We look forward to meeting visitors at RTX Scotland and sharing more about our plans.”
