Schmitz Carogobull set to make its mark at RTX Scotland
The Schmitz Cargobull team will be showcasing their flagship S.CS FREEPOST trailer on stand D30 at RTX Scotland, as well as offering insights into the latest technology available to help hauliers stay compliant and profitable.
The Manchester-built semi-trailer curtainsider, which was designed specifically for road transport businesses in the UK and Ireland, features post-free side access for quick and efficient loading and unloading, with a side aperture height of up to 3,200mm.
To facilitate unloading, the curtain can be tensioned from both the front and the rear. Flexible load securing points, with continuous lashing holes in the side rave and an optional 16 pairs of 4t lashing rings are available for optimum load securing. Additional security against unauthorised access is provided on each S.CS FREEPOST by a 2.5-metre-high anti-slash mesh integrated inside the curtains.
As with all new Manchester-built trailers, the curtainsider comes with a complimentary year of access to Schmitz Cargobull’s telematics system TrailerConnect®. It also features the manufacturer’s Electronic Brake Performance Management System (EBPMS).
EBPMS is a paid for option that enables hauliers to enhance road safety, reduce vehicle downtime, meet UK legislative compliance and save money (following DVSA guidance changes this year, trailers equipped with the system can reduce the number of required roller brake tests to just one annually, saving time and cost).
The Schmitz Cargobull team will be on hand at RTX Scotland to provide further details about EBPMS, TrailerConnect®, plus other productivity-boosting technologies available across its extensive product range. Information will also be available on how best to utilise Cargobull Finance, which offers hire purchase, leasing and contract leasing options.
