It’s Show Time for MAN Truck & Bus UK as they head to the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn to present a range of instantly recognisable, award-winning Commercial Vehicles at the inaugural RTX Northern Ireland Show.

On Stand C25 MAN will showcase a diverse range of vehicles, including the much-acclaimed 3.5-tonne TGE and a Limited “Eclipse Edition” flagship TGX tractor. In the Ride and Drive section, MAN will present two all-electric trucks, both seen for the first time in Northern Ireland: the eTGS 4x2 rigid and an eTGX tractor-trailer combination. A TGE 3.5-tonne van will also be available for test drives.

Supported by a range of bespoke, customer-tailored, and integrated business-focused aftersales products, MAN Trucks and Vans are known for setting benchmarks in sustainability, efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Jan Kohlmeier, Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd, said: “As a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, with a range of vehicles from 3.5 to 250 tonnes, the RTX Show gives us the opportunity to showcase and demonstrate our products and services and, importantly, to meet with customers and industry friends.

“This is the first time we’ve demonstrated our battery-powered eTGS rigid in Northern Ireland, so we’re looking forward to many interesting conversations surrounding sustainability and decarbonisation, both before and after test drives. With the new eTGS 4x2 rigid, depending on the battery configuration, ranges of 750 kilometres are possible, all without the need for intermediate charging.

“We’re also using the show to unveil our new Eclipse Edition flagship TGX tractor, a real connoisseur's vehicle with top-of-the-line specifications, heightened levels of driver appeal, range-topping power, and a real impact statement truck for any company.

“At the lighter end, our 3.5 tonne TGE, both on the stand and in the ride and drive section, will continue to open eyes with its outstanding build quality and class leading levels of comfort.

“Furthermore, and for those with curious minds, our expert team, including our UK eMobility consultants, will be on hand to talk with and guide customers, helping them to prepare for this new sustainable era.” Concluded Jan.
