AQUARIUS RETURNS TO RTX SCOTLAND WITH ITS CONNECTED APPROACH TO DRIVER AND FLEET MANAGEMENT

Following the success of the inaugural RTX Scotland last year, Aquarius IT is looking forward to returning to the SEC Glasgow on 18–19 November 2026, showcasing how its connected driver compliance and fleet management technology is helping operators strengthen compliance, improve efficiency and maintain greater control across their operations.

Scotland continues to be an important market for Aquarius, with its software supporting transport operators from the Highlands to the Central Belt, ranging from independent businesses to large multi-site fleets. Its customers operate across a diverse range of sectors, including seafood logistics, waste and recycling, construction, oil and energy, coach and bus touring, and general haulage.

With operators facing increasing demands around compliance, efficiency and day-to-day fleet management, Aquarius continues to develop its technology around a connected approach, bringing together driver, vehicle and operational information to provide businesses with a more complete picture of their activities.

Rather than relying on separate systems and disconnected processes, Aquarius' integrated software solutions enable information to be shared across different areas of the business, helping operators reduce administration, maintain consistent compliance records and make better-informed operational decisions.

Connecting the back office to the cab

At the centre of this approach is Aquarius' award-winning ClockWatcher Elite software, working alongside Asset Maintenance and the Aquarius App to connect the back office with drivers and vehicles out on the road.

Together, these solutions support a wide range of everyday responsibilities, from drivers' hours and tachograph analysis to vehicle maintenance, defect reporting, document sharing and time and attendance.

The Aquarius App plays an important role in this connected environment, enabling drivers to complete checks, report defects and share information directly with the back office. This helps operators maintain consistent, auditable processes while reducing paperwork and improving communication across their fleets.

Visitors to RTX Scotland will also be able to explore the latest enhancements to Aquarius' software, including its updated Defect Check functionality, designed to make it easier for operators to create and customise vehicle checks around their specific operational requirements.

Other developments include Aquarius' DVLA-approved Licence Check and Data API capabilities, enabling operators to manage driver licence verification and securely connect information with other business systems, including telematics and transport management platforms.

For operators involved in international transport, Aquarius will also be highlighting its new Schengen Planner, developed to help businesses monitor and manage drivers' travel within the Schengen Area under the 90/180-day rule, providing greater visibility of travel allowances and supporting forward planning.

Supporting Scotland's transport industry

With its diverse transport landscape and operational requirements, Scotland presents a wide range of challenges for fleet operators. Aquarius' flexible, connected approach enables businesses to select solutions that reflect their individual needs while benefiting from technology designed to work together.

RTX Scotland provides an opportunity for the Aquarius team to reconnect with existing customers, meet new operators and discuss how its technology can help businesses manage compliance and operational responsibilities, both today and in the future.
