MAHA UK’s in-demand rising roller brake testers to be showcased at Road Transport Expo

Updated regulations and the emphasis of using premium workshop equipment will be the collaborative message from MAHA UK when welcoming existing and potential new partners to their stand (G45) this year.

With the brake testing rules changing in April this year, emphasising the need for braking systems to be tested under realistic conditions to improve road safety, MAHA UK’s four-person team of Neil Ebbs, Luke Fuller, James Thompson and Louis Tunmore will be pleased to address attendees’ questions about the topic, as well as highlight MAHA UK’s compliant solution.

The MBT 7250 commercial brake tester includes a rising roller bed option. It can be elevated by 250mm; doing so simulates axle loads of up to 10 tonnes and offers a reliable alternative to traditional laden testing when external loading isn’t possible.

MAHA UK has already installed numerous such products and is continuing to receive ample enquiries for this equipment, so it is prepared for significant interest at RTX.

Away from the commercial brake tester, C_RGA mobile column lifts will also be displayed on MAHA UK’s large, open stand. Since their launch in 2024, there has been much interest, thanks in part to the lithium-ion battery that accompanies the lift as standard – meaning more lifts and less downtime – so the company is hopeful of the same result this year.

MAHA UK Managing Director, Neil Ebbs, said: “The industry is adjusting to the new brake testing rules, and we are supporting the sector by supplying equipment that meets standards. At Road Transport Expo, we will be reiterating and, importantly, showing visitors how we are achieving those standards.

“We are also confident that the enthusiasm shown towards our mobile column lifts will be evident once more. We are confident that the mix of our equipment and talking points in the industry will serve up a strong showing.”

MAHA UK will be based on Stand G45. For more information about MAHA UK and its range of brake testers, go to www.maha.co.uk
