The one-stop industry event that’s all about the truck and everything related to it
TIP, leading provider of trailer and truck hire and maintenance services, will return to Road Transport Expo (RTX) for the third consecutive year, with an expanded line-up of services and a renewed focus on sustainable fleet solutions.
Visitors to TIP’s outdoor stand will be able to check-out the latest technological advancements in zero-emission refrigerated trailers within TIP’s fleet and that are available for hire, including on a trial basis. ‘Cool-chain’ transport operators who trial TIP’s e-reefers can expect comprehensive reporting on their refrigeration performance to help understand the benefits that such ground-breaking technologies can bring to their transport operation.
Also on show will be a latest specification tractor unit to demonstrate TIP’s unified truck-trailer hire proposition. TIP has significantly upscaled its truck hire capabilities in the past few years, offering transport operators the range of hire and maintenance services akin to the trailer services that it has long since been renowned for.
With Electronic Braking Performance Monitoring Systems becoming a hotter topic than ever of late following changes to trailer braking system assessment expectations, TIP’s expert team will be on hand to discuss all things ‘EBPMS’. With more than 20,000 trailers now fitted with BrakePlus, TIP ensures operators meet the latest trailer compliance obligations in the most cost-effective way possible.
Mike Furnival, TIP Managing Director, UK and Ireland, commented: “Road Transport Expo has proven to be a fantastic platform for us to connect with operators and showcase the breadth of services we offer, including the short-term and long-term rental of both trucks and trailers. This year, we’re particularly excited to spotlight the latest in e-reefer technology and to discuss other sustainability-led solutions such as our new and unrivalled trailer refurbishment capabilities for those looking to extend the life of the trailers within their fleet.”
The TIP team will be available on stand Y13 to discuss any aspect of trailer and truck hire, including maintenance, repair, compliance, telematics and, of course, trailer refurbishment.
