Located at Stand Y1, the showcase underscores Van Hool’s unwavering commitment to delivering transport solutions that are smarter, cleaner, and tougher.

UK First: Friction Stir Welding (FSW) in Tanker Manufacturing

Marking a UK debut, Van Hool unveils its cutting-edge Friction Stir Welding (FSW) technology—now applied to its aluminium silo products. FSW creates exceptionally strong, crack-resistant welds with zero porosity, setting a new industry standard for strength, finish, and longevity. “We’re thrilled to be back at RTX and can’t wait to welcome everyone in the industry to Stand Y1,” said Fred Everiss, UK & Ireland Sales Manager. “This is the perfect opportunity to connect, exchange insights, and demonstrate the innovation and quality that Van Hool is known for.”
