Darren is the owner of Low Carbon Truck Consultancy, a business established to support the road freight industry through the transition from fossil fuels to a renewable future. Having spent over three decades working for various truck manufacturers in sales, product management, alternative fuels and finance, he started his business in 2020 and works with various stakeholders across the road transport decarbonisation arena, from energy providers, vehicle providers to vehicle operators and funders. Darren has a deep knowledge of the sector and the challenges it faces in the coming years as it adopts new technology, new energy sources and new operating patterns. He is a regular contributor to many forums and groups on the topic and has a passion for making sure the industry voice is heard and it’s important contribution to the economy recognised.
