After 10 years with Volvo Group where he helped shape Renault Trucks’ approach to alternative energies and developed the UK’s first fully electric concrete mixer with McPhee Mixers and Tarmac, Andrew now works independently, using his broad industry experience to engage multiple agencies and audiences to help build the case and accelerate the implementation of decarbonisation policies. Andrew chairs the SMMT Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technical Committee and has been a Motor Transport Decarbonisation Power Player for the past three years. He is a member of the steering group for the eFREIGHT 2030 ZEHID consortium and is also part of the SCALE project set up as part of Transport Scotland’s HGV Market Readiness Fund.
