Martin has been with RHA for almost 12 years having previously worked in the construction sector. During his time with RHA he has taken on several roles for the company but for the last few years he has been their Policy Director for Scotland Wales and NI. He represents member interests and regularly raises industry issues at Holyrood, Stormont and the Senedd. Issues such as the difficulties moving goods from GB to NI post Brexit, the resilience at Welsh ports and the Irish Sea routes and he has championed the increase of speed limits for HGV’s in Scotland to match the rest of the UK. He is a regular contributor to the Scottish media where he promotes the sector and the haulage firms that drive the Scottish supply chains and the UK economy.
