Joseph Hurst is the Logistics Sustainability Lead for Nestlé and Industry Chair for the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight. Over the past 10 years, he has worked across logistics and supply chain roles within both the automotive and fast-moving consumer goods sectors, building extensive experience in transport operations and sustainability strategy. His work has focused heavily on the decarbonisation of heavy goods vehicles, supporting the transition to lower-emission freight solutions. In recent years, he has specialised in freight electrification, balancing sustainability targets with the practical realities of operational delivery, infrastructure, cost and fleet performance.
